A review of hirings and layoffs for October 2014
HIRINGS
1. A beacon in the field of Quebec technology, CGI will be opening a fifth center of excellence in Shawinigan in the coming months, creating 300 jobs in the region over the next three years.
2. Canada Goose, the Canadian company specializing in the manufacture of luxurious outerwear, has now opened its global headquarters in Toronto, Ontario. The city also hosts the company’s new plant, doubling its production. This expansion will create 200 jobs.
