Right Management interviewed 600 employees in Canada and the United States between mid-December 2012 and mid-January 2013.
The question: how do you think you will find your next job? 50% of respondents cited networking, 22% recruiting websites, 19% recruiting firms, 8% direct approach and 1% newspaper ads. These are realistic expectations, since over the last five years more than half of candidates received by Right Management found their current job through a meeting, while employment sites were two times less effective. An expert in human resources and management consulting in Manpower notes that job search techniques are constantly evolving and that candidates adapt quickly.
