About this position:
As the Manager, Cabin Safety Training & Standards you will be responsible for developing and implementing safety programs, managing cabin crew training, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations, and promoting a culture of safety and service excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensuring continual improvement through the periodic review of documented processes
- Supporting the maintenance of a current and approved Flight Attendant Manual
- Supporting the maintenance of a current and approved Flight Attendant Initial/Annual/ Requalification training programs
- Conducting Line Checks on Cabin Safety Instructors/Evaluators
- Ensuring Flight Attendants are trained in accordance with the approved regulatory training programs
- Maintaining Flight Attendant training records
- Maintaining a current knowledge of the contents of the Flight Operations Manual, Operating Certificate and operations specifications as it pertains to cabin and passenger safety
- Maintaining a current knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations and Standards, as required
- Maintaining Emergency Procedures Training Programs for pilots and instruct training as required
- Regular review of the Flight Attendant Manual and Inflight Services Standards Manual; provide updates as required
