What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for frontline and administrative positions
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to gain a deep understanding of needs and provide strategic consultation
  • Source top talent using creative and effective strategies, managing the candidate selection process and administrative tasks
  • Represent us at job fairs and career events, attracting top candidates
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with post-secondary institutions and help navigate the practicum and co-op placement opportunities
  • Assist in managing the recruitment marketing budget and optimize job posting spend for maximum reach
  • Create and manage compelling job posting that attract qualified candidates
  • Review and pre-screen resumes to identify top talent
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews to assess qualifications and fit
  • Collect and organize required documentation to ensure compliance
  • Collect and present data on ROI for marketing spend and job posting reach

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday
8:30 AM - 5:00 PM


Who You Are

You are highly motivated and results-driven with a passion for identifying top talent, building strong relationships, and creating an exceptional candidate experience. With a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset, you thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your strong background in talent acquisition is key to helping both candidates and our clients succeed.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive recruiting experience required
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related field required
  • Proven success in high-volume corporate recruiting
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Applicant Tracking Software (ATS) systems, such as BambooHR
  • Extensive knowledge of Alberta Employment Standards and the Alberta Human Rights Act
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders
  • Strong ability to manage the candidate selection process and source top talent efficiently
  • High level of self-motivation, problem-solving skills, and adaptability
  • Clear Police Information Check (Vulnerable Sector) - within last 3 months
  • Intervention Record Check - within last 3 months

Bonus Qualifications (assets, but not required)

  • RPR (Registered Professional Recruiter)
  • Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation or candidate status
  • Direct experience in Children's Services Intervention, Human Services or Healthcare
