Training Coordinator

Reporting to the Fibreline Manager, the successful candidate will work closely with mill personnel, providing direction and support for training initiative. A high degree of professionalism and leadership is required.

You'll Do:

• Develop and implement operator training programs, including site policies and procedures.
• Rollout divisional and corporate initiatives to the mill site
• Generate cross departmental reports for training, safety, observations, etc.
• Orientate New & Young workers to the mill site
• Work with Subject Matter Experts to develop training materials, workbooks, and examinations
• Keep informed of, interpret, and implement training regarding regulatory obligations and industry best practices
• Prepare for and participate in external government audits
• Forecast department training needs
• Develop and maintain a network of internal and external resources, including but not limited to, the OH&S Coordinator, Operational Maintenance Coordinators, Corporate & Divisional Managers, Contractors, etc.
• Assess new training technologies and implement where beneficial

You have:

• Experience in course and curriculum design or managing training projects
• Familiar with Learning Management Systems
• Strong communication, including technical or procedural writing
• Clear understanding of the principles of adult education and educational design.
• Demonstrated ability to keep and monitor records effectively
• High energy level, self-starter and works well without direct supervision
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Strong computer skills

Considered an asset:

• Familiarity with the Adobe Suite, Microsoft Suite including Sharepoint, UKG(Ultipro), Articulate Storyline
• Change Management training

• Mill and/or heavy industry experience

Compensation Package:

• The salary range for this position may vary depending on experience, education, and location. The range is between $84,000-$96,000
• Annual bonus opportunity
