As a People Experience Business Partner (BP) you will support the achievement of Prospera's strategy through offering coaching and operational support to our business leaders in the areas of employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, and talent management.

What you'll do:

  • Partner with business leaders to understand their business and issues and develop people solutions to help them achieve their goals.
  • Implement, monitor, and continuously look for ways to further develop and improve people related programs and process that drive business performance and create an exceptional employee experience.
  • Oversee employee relation issues within an assigned portfolio including conducting investigations, conflict resolution, and progressive discipline
  • Coach our people leaders on performance management; including oversight of the organizational performance management cycle and advising on strategies to improve employee performance.
  • Support our people leaders in their work to support employee personal, professional and career development.
  • Support the execution of Prospera's employee engagement initiatives including surveys and engagement action plans.

What you bring:

  • Post-Secondary designation in Human Resources (HR) Management or a related field.
  • 5 years' Human Resources experience, including a minimum of 2 years as an HR Generalist
  • CPHR is preferred
  • Excellent relationship building skills including maintaining clear lines of communication based on a high degree of trust, credibility, and the ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Demonstrated coaching, negotiating and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to engage, inspire people, influence change, and work collaboratively with the wider People Experience team and others.
  • Proven knowledge in resolving problems by using judgement that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation and/or government law.
  • Previous experience identifying, providing and implementing strategies for improved HR practices and processes.
  • Strong attention to detail, together with the ability to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.

Prospera offers a total compensation package of base pay plus incentives that is market competitive and reviewed against the market annually. Starting salary is normally targeted around the middle of the posted salary range, and is determined based on the successful candidate's knowledge, experience and internal equity. Our expected hiring range for this role is $85,600 - $107,000.
