POSITION SUMMARY:
The Top Prospects internship program is designed to give university students in their final year of study or recent university graduates an immersive, look at what it is like to work in the professional sports industry while gaining valuable hands-on experience. All internships are onsite at our office, right next to Rogers Arena in downtown Vancouver.
The Health & Safety Intern will work closely with our Event Services team and will be responsible for creating monthly safety focuses for our staff, completing monthly inspections, liaising with St John's Ambulance regarding event first aid, and reviewing safety data. They will also have the opportunity to work closely with our Health & Safety Manager to learn about safety training for staff, assist with new staff safety orientations, and how to create safe work procedures.
