ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you passionate about creating exceptional employee experiences and ready to take your HR career to the next level? Fresh Tracks Canada is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Coordinator, People Operations to join our fast-paced People Operations team.


Reporting to the Manager of People Operations, you will take ownership of critical HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, employee engagement, and documentation management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, providing timely support on policies, benefits, and HR processes.
  • Assist employees with navigating HR systems and troubleshooting issues.
  • Maintain and update employee records and documentation to ensure compliance.
  • Handle routine HR tasks such as correspondence, data entry, and reporting with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide full-cycle recruitment support, including interview coordination, job postings, conducting phone screens, and managing and completion of job offers.
  • Oversee end-to-end onboarding processes to deliver seamless experiences for new team members.
  • Manage offboarding processes with care, ensuring compliance and a positive employee transition.
  • Coordinate internal recognition programs and assist with company award applications.
  • Support wellness initiatives and foster a collaborative, inclusive workplace culture.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in BambooHR and ensure compliance with HR policies.
  • Update and manage HR templates, policies, and checklists.
  • Compile metrics to measure HR effectiveness and support reporting needs.
  • Provide administrative support for HR projects, including annual planning and budgeting.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with BambooHR is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian Provincial Employment Standards, Human Rights legislation, and knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety standards.
  • Experience in the tourism industry is an asset.
  • Demonstrates high integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling sensitive employee matters.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and plan for potential challenges logically and effectively.
  • Adaptable to evolving work environments, priorities, and organizational needs.
  • A positive attitude and high energy, with a passion for creating exceptional employee experiences.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Has a strong interest in people analytics and data-driven HR strategies.
