JOB PURPOSE:

As the leader of the Employee Experience Centre (EEC), oversee the Company’s global HR Shared Services team. With three dedicated hubs across the globe, McCain’s EEC delivers the operational HR activities covering the employee lifecycle. This role is an integral member of the HR Leadership Team (HRLT), reporting to the VP, Global Rewards.

The role is a key enabler of McCain’s leadership culture — fostering continuous improvement, empowering people, simplifying processes, and thinking ahead to scale the shared services function globally.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the identification, hiring, and training of EEC team members
  • Execute on the HR Operating Model vision, strengthening the EEC, by working with process owners and service providers to deliver optimal service solutions
  • Drive a continuous service improvement mindset by partnering with the Centers of Expertise (COEs), HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and Global Technology to proactively explore opportunities to optimize and technology enable key processes
  • Liaise with stakeholders in HR and Technology to understand business/functional requirements, and to collaborate with external vendor partners to implement, upgrade, and maintain technology solutions
  • Monitor and refine Service Level Agreements (SLAs), analytics, and reporting, to assess the performance of the Employee Experience Center
  • Execute on the people analytics vision and roadmap
  • Provide data driven insights and make recommendations to Senior Management and other internal stakeholders
  • Support HR projects and key initiatives including supporting the delivery and change management of new HR programs
  • Lead and manage the EEC, by developing and coaching team members, ensuring that team is trained and knowledgeable and by cultivating a winning culture
  • Coach and empower the team to grow their capabilities, act with ownership, and challenge the status quo in a psychologically safe and inclusive environment
  • Manage and maintain an annual departmental budget

KEY QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in an HR Shared Services environment, with demonstrated expertise in managing the full employee lifecycle through technology-enabled processes. This includes, but is not limited to, onboarding, workforce administration, global mobility, total rewards, performance management, reporting & analytics, and offboarding. Experience should encompass both strategic oversight and hands-on management of daily HR operations
  • Global experience is a must have
  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or another related field
  • Proven track record of developing and successfully implementing HR strategies that enhance operational efficiency and employee experience
  • Solid understanding and experience using HR technologies such as SAP, SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, and UKG Dimensions, with the ability to leverage data and consumer insights to drive mutual success
  • Experience with Payroll systems is considered an asset
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders across HR and the business, and the skill to collaborate with and motivate others
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on creating a safe space for healthy debate and then committing to a decision together

Compensation Package: $165,000.00 - $220,000.00 CAD annually + bonus eligibility + Long Term Incentive eligibility

The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.
