The Opportunity


In this role, you will support the People & Culture Department functions of your client group, including recruiting, employee relations, leave management, and enforcing company policies and practices. You will have a strong part in driving positive employee experience. Reporting to the General Manager, People & Culture, you will work closely with the employees and leaders in your client group and participate in strategic projects to help move department initiatives forward.


Responsibilities

  • Full cycle recruitment from job posting to offer letters, including building a talent pipeline;
  • Assisting with forecast staffing needs, actively recruit and attract employees;
  • Ensuring the development and accurate updating of job descriptions, job postings and all relevant recruitment materials
  • Acting as first point of contact for People & Culture including advising managers and employees on the interpretation of policies, procedures, programs, and processes
  • Supporting performance management, compliance, employee data and reporting, leave management, eNPS activities, and provides data analysis.
  • Assist with onboarding, orientation and employee training.
  • Maintaining knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in People & Culture, talent management, and employment law.
  • Assist and provide resolutions to employee relation issues and terminations.
  • Supporting the development and deployment of People & Culture Programs
  • Any other duties as required that align with the scope and nature of the role.


Qualifications

  • Human Resources Management Diploma.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Effective relationship building and business partnering skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
  • Experience working with an HRIS
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong time management and organization skills.
  • Proactive with the willingness to take initiative.
