The Student Recruitment Lead reports to the Team Lead, Recruitment Operations and plays a significant role in leading the approach for all student activities & recruitment across JDI. With a focus on building the student talent pipeline & enhancing the student experience across the J.D. Irving, Limited group of companies, the Student Recruitment Lead oversees the coordination of campus activity and owns all elements of the corporate student program.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the execution of the JDI corporate student program to ensure planned deliverables are met & students get exposure to the company, receive senior leadership interaction, & professional development learning opportunities
- Highlight the JDI student experience & promote our divisional student recruiters on JDIonCampus Instagram
- Lead collaboration between & among JDI businesses to create a cohesive student experience across the organization
- Partner with JDI businesses to understand their student talent needs
- Design & implement initiatives that continue to support & grow JDI's on campus presence
- Strengthen relationships with existing educational partners & seek opportunities to develop new partnerships to meet the growing workforce needs
- Lead execution of student touch bases to ensure students are having a successful term
- Lead execution of student assessments to identify top student talent & secure return
- Develop & maintain student recruitment KPIs, including retention & conversion metrics
- Ensure the student recruitment process is optimized, efficient, & effective providing an exceptional experience for all candidates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field
- 3-5 years related experience in Human Resources and/or recruitment
- Experience in student recruitment and employment/brand campaigns
- Strong presentation, influencing, attention to detail, & organizational skills
- Customer focused with exceptional interpersonal & communication skills
- Process thinking, continuous improvement, and the ability/experience to independently lead projects
- Energetic self-starter who enjoys working in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to travel occasionally
