Job Description

This role involves managing a team of security officers, administration, housekeeping, maintenance, and kitchen staff to deliver efficient and professional services at the Aramark IOC Camp and other locations. The incumbent is responsible for health and safety training, leadership, compliance, and quality assurance, ensuring alignment between Aramark and client policies.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead health and safety programs and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Represent Aramark during inspections, address non-compliance, and maintain workplace injury files.
  • Chair the Occupational Health and Safety Committee.
  • Hire, train, and supervise staff, providing coaching and performance assessments.
  • Delegate tasks and ensure timely completion of duties by camp staff.
  • Oversee maintenance procedures, repairs, and inventory management.
  • Conduct inspections of accommodations and communal areas.
  • Coordinate landscaping and out-of-scope maintenance tasks with the client.
  • Ensure superior guest services through effective supervision and resource allocation.
  • Develop budgets for safety equipment and manage financial information confidentially.
  • Participate in emergency response procedures and prepare improvement plans.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Customer-focused with a professional appearance.
  • Reliable, adaptable, and able to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Good understanding of security risks and mitigation strategies.

Working Conditions

  • Combination of indoor and occasional outdoor work.
  • Ability to navigate close quarters, slippery surfaces, and noisy environments.
  • Requires split shifts and rotational schedules.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of supervisory experience in remote camp, hospitality, or related industries.
  • Valid WHMIS and First Aid certifications.
  • Proven leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Strong customer service focus.
