As the Sr. HR Administrator, you will play an integral role in helping us fulfill our critical time entry and payroll obligations. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will have accountability for administering our weekly time entry and payroll process for 350+ employees and subcontractors. This role ensures time entry is accurately processed and aligned with our current time entry and project billing codes. You will work across multiple areas for alignment including general HR/payroll policy and ensure adherence and compliance to all provincial legislation (Provincial Labour Standards).
This role also ensures that we maintain accurate and effective digital record keeping in our HR and Financial systems while maintaining accurate digital employee files. This role interfaces with staff, supervisors, managers, and is an effective liaison between Fleetway and our corporate financial services team, as well as our entire leadership group.
We are looking for someone who enjoys being involved with time and attendance processing and administering the related aspects of general accounting with payroll, workers compensation, and leave management while applying a customer focused mindset. The right candidate will bring a blend of reporting, analytical and people focused mindset to our team. We need someone who enjoys getting into the trenches of payroll processing and effective data management with our human resources and financial systems.

It goes without saying that strong computer skills are required; specifically, proficiency in Excel and with a Financial enterprise system and an HRIS (HR system). Don't underestimate the need to bring some solid accounting knowledge and experience to this role as well. Additionally, we are looking for someone with solid business communication skills, the ability to generate and analyze reports (i.e. payroll discrepancies), and the ability to resolve payroll challenges.
To round out your profile, you are a detail-oriented professional, coupled with a demonstrated and proven sense of urgency and ability to balance shifting/multiple priorities without sacrificing deadlines. You will also work closely and in alignment with our Human Resources Department.
