Candidates with a PhD at time of application will be preferred, but we will also consider applications from those in the final stages of their doctoral work. As an applied program, we value diverse forms of scholarship, research, and teaching beyond academic credentials, and therefore encourage applicants to share these qualifications in their application packages. In addition, the impact of certain circumstances that may legitimately affect a nominee's record of research achievement will be given careful consideration when assessing the nominee's research productivity. Candidates are encouraged to provide any relevant information about their experience and/or career interruptions.
