Reporting to the Director of Recruitment and Volunteer Services and working as part of the broader People Services team, the International Recruitment Manager provides leadership and coordination for Nova Scotia Health's province-wide recruitment and staffing efforts, with a specific focus on Internationally Educated Nurses (IENs).
In this role, they are responsible for ensuring Nova Scotia Health meets its staffing requirements by attracting and hiring qualified candidates to support patient care. This includes leading a team of recruitment staff, offering guidance to ensure best practices are followed, and driving continuous improvement in recruitment processes.
The International Recruitment Manager also participates in special project groups aimed at enhancing recruitment strategies for IENs. This involves consulting with internal clients and external stakeholders to assess workforce needs, developing targeted plans to address those needs, and ensuring performance aligns with KPIs for administrative efficiency and candidate quality.
