Job Description:

The Focused Improvement Manager drives the loss analysis and elimination in line with the Compelling Business Need (CBN) of the site. Based on that they coordinate the improvement program to deliver against the strategic improvement objectives set.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Engineering or Industrial Engineering or similar.
  • 8+ years of experience overall and at least 5+ years of manufacturing experience in production, quality, engineering or related field.
  • 5 or more years of management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing Plant Optimization and Lean/TPM principles in a manufacturing environment.
  • High level of numeracy, analytical capability and strong communication skills.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Coordinating the MSE/TPM program while leading the FI and E&T pillar and coaching the other MSE/TPM pillar leaders and members. Maintaining a balance between short term business delivery and longer-term strategic priorities and driving VLS (Value Leadership) initiatives and Loss Analysis.
  • Extending the use of MSE/TPM improvement tools within Quality, Safety, and Food Safety for supporting the asset health check (AHC) & reliability improvement process and driving standard work efforts and assists in the annual operating plan process.
  • Responsible for excellence in implementation of new products and processes, including handover to operations (Responsible for PPPI Product, Process & Packaging Implementation at site level).
  • The job holder leads the Focused Improvement team (IE, CI, PPPI) and ensures a trustful, transparent, collaborative way of working with all relevant functions.
  • Teach, coach and assess leaders and associates to leverage the pillar methodology to drive a sustainable MSE/TPM implementation and culture of "zero losses".
  • The job holder is permanent member of the Site Leadership Team and play a key role as a thought partner with the Plant Director and have important links with Global Industrial Engineering (IE) as well as the Global and Regional Supply, & MSE/TPM teams, R&D teams & other Site FIM's.
  • Provide clear, concise and direct feedback to Plant Director and Regional MSE/TPM leadership on successes and challenges to replicate and sustain improvements.
  • Partner with Regional MSE/TPM Manager to ensure maximum effectiveness of PO deployment plans.
  • Conduct pillar audits to ensure adherence to the methodology and participate in the plant's Daily Management System (DMS) to sustain improvement gains.
