The Opportunity:
We are currently looking for a Driver Onboarding Coordinator to join our team! The Driver Onboarding Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all new driver onboarding documentation meets DOT compliance requirements and that drivers are fully prepared for Orientation and Operations.
This role maintains accurate records and data to ensure Company Drivers and Owner/Operators comply with all regulatory and legislative requirements. Additionally, the Compliance Coordinator assists drivers with inquiries related to license renewals, medicals, fuel cards, and certification updates while providing administrative support to the Safety and Compliance department. Key Accountabilities:
Manage and maintain all printed and electronic driver qualification files, medical files, and compliance files in a secure and confidential manner
Respond to driver inquiries in person, by phone and electronically
Verifying driver files from recruiting are compliant with DOT regulations and accurate index and filing standards, ensure onboarding documentation is ready for orientation class (fuel cards are assigned, dangerous goods card and assignment of ID badges.
Review and process all driver applicant qualification documents for accuracy and completeness
Assist with the Drug and Alcohol program
Create Driver profiles in TMW
Performs administrative tasks such as Driver file projects
Perform other duties as required
What You Need To Be Successful In This Role:
Post-secondary degree or diploma
Knowledge of DOT regulations for both Canada and the US
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
Experience in the transportation industry considered to be an asset
