The Opportunity:

Under Sunwing Vacations, we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator for our People & Culture team to join us in making vacation dreams come true. As the Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will assist with day-to-day recruiting activities from an administrative perspective to ensure the most efficient and effective recruitment process for our team and candidates. The position reports to the Talent Manager and will be located in Toronto, ON.

What You'll Do:

  • Be a Brand Ambassador, representing Sunwing Vacations at events and Career Fairs
  • Screening Resumes (for all levels and departments)
  • Pipelining and sourcing candidates to build a bench of talent
  • Finalizing and sending out weekly and or monthly reports to the team on recruitment statistics
  • Creating job descriptions, post jobs online and internally
  • Build rapport with candidates, and provide regular and timely communications and follow ups
  • Greet candidates for interviews, and take them on a tour
  • Scheduling interviews and phone screens
  • Conduct background and reference checks
  • Managing signed offer letters, creating candidate files, and managing first day details
  • Manage job boards, LinkedIn and Indeed
  • Organize, attend and participate in Sunwing Hiring Events, External Job Fairs and Career Events
  • Maintain and manage our ATS
  • Research best practices and keeping up to date on the latest industry trends as they relate to Human Resource and Recruitment best practices
  • Live our culture - be Epic! Be friendly, knowledgeable, genuine, and provide exceptional service to internal clients and external candidates
  • Provide overall Recruitment Support to the Talent Team, and perform other duties as necessary

What You'll Need:

  • Post-Secondary education and a degree/certificate in Human Resources Management preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Recruiting or an entry level Human Resources/People & Culture role
  • CHRP designation completed or in progress
  • Outgoing, friendly, with a high-level hospitality and customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluent in both English and French is an asset
  • Ability to screen a high volume of resumes
  • Problem-solving skills, team player and time-management skills
