The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria.

VIE Main Requirements:

  • European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old.

  • Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any.

  • Fluent in English.

A VIE for a Logistics Performance & Business Analyst (f/m) has arisen within Airbus Helicopters Canada in Fort Erie.

The VIE reports to the Director of Production Control & Materials Management to support the day-to-day operations in procurement and the warehouse. The VIE focuses on process improvements, data analysis, logistics, and inventory management activities. The VIE will collaborate with the region and the group to align and improve processes in procurement and the warehouse.

Primary Position Responsibilities

  • Implement a performance monitoring system with logistics indicators.

  • Report on Spares and Repair flow KPIs (OTR, TAT, WIP, etc) and support performance improvement activity.

  • Conduct data analysis on Warehousing and Procurement activities to support and enhance operational efficiencies .

  • Collaborate with AH, AHI and local teams to align on development of dashboard, and tools and technology in order to bring operational improvements.

  • Maintain weekly and monthly KPI dashboards for Warehouse, Production Control and Procurement departments.

  • Support Warehouse in Inventory Management activities such as Cycle Count, Timex material management, material turn and obsolescence management.

  • Manage and analyze forecasts received from business lines and ensure compliance with stocking policy.

  • Conduct root cause analysis on OTR misses and provide a corrective action plan.

  • Assist Procurement and Warehouse teams with SNAG and NC's and order administration as required.

  • Complete any other projects or tasks as required.

Position Requirements

  • Education : Master in a Business Administration Program (Operations Management or Supply Chain Management preferred)

  • Fully proficient in Gsuite or Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • SAP experience an asset

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to work independently or in a team oriented environment

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills

  • Strong attention to detail for analytical analysis

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively

Language skills:

  • Negotiation level in English

  • Negotiation level in French
