Payroll Clerk

The Payroll Clerk position will be responsible for supporting the Payroll Analysts and Management in a centralized payroll environment for multiple legal entities. You will ensure accurate calculation of retroactive pay adjustments, preparation of expense import files, and assists with the preparation of quarterly bonus runs. Provides support to process improvement initiatives and projects.

Performance Expectations

  • Preparation of Records of Employment
  • Calculate retroactive pay adjustments, pension adjustments, vacation payments, and other payroll adjustments
  • Preparation & import of expense import files
  • Assist with preparation of quarterly bonus runs
  • Supports process improvement initiatives & projects
  • Open and distribute mail
  • Monitor and order office supplies
  • Other duties as assigned


Credentials

  • Successful completion of secondary school or equivalent and related experience
  • CPA designation is an asset
  • Must have 1 - 2 years of previous payroll experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of payroll related legislation and employment standards
  • ADP WFN payroll system experience is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fully computerized environment including advanced Excel and Word skills
  • Knowledge of WEB ROE is an asset
