About the Job

As a Truck and Coach Mechanic you will be working full time out of our Grey-Bruce Office in Hanover, Ontario. Walker offers a competitive wage of $37.50 - $40.50 based on experience, full group benefits, a pension plan, and many other industry-leading Walker perks. There is potential for growth within the company.

What You'll Be Doing

• Servicing heavy equipment on regular intervals, including preventative maintenance
• Can perform major mechanical repairs to the equipment
• Responsible for maintaining the company's preventative maintenance program and work order system in a timely manner
• Additional training will be provided if necessary

Here's What You Need

• Previous experience as a heavy-duty or truck and coach mechanic is an asset
• Experience with Caterpillar, Komatsu, John Deere equipment are assets
• Experienced truck and coach technician, certification an asset
• Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Certification as asset
• Common core training is an asset but not required
• Experience working in a quarry or construction environment is an asset
