We're looking for a dynamic individual to connect the dots between customer needs and our marketing and product strategies. By researching and analyzing market trends, you'll uncover valuable insights about our customers and how our products are used. These insights will shape our product and content roadmaps, Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), and how we go to market while speaking the customers language. Your contributions will be crucial in enhancing our differentiation and value propositions, helping us stand out in the competitive market. What you will be responsible for:

Product Performance Documentation Creation and Maintenance:

  • Expand product performance definitions to include customer-centric views.
  • Develop subcategory-level performance documentation linking customer needs and market trends to product differentiation.
  • Focus on growth-oriented subcategories and future product categories.

Product Categorization & Communication:

  • Organize and communicate product information tailored to various buying centers.
  • Develop frameworks for product categorization and provide guidance on messaging, website updates, and documentation.

Customer Product Roadmap Development:

  • Create customer-centric product roadmaps aligned with technical roadmaps.
  • Use customer insights and market trends to inform product development and align strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define value propositions and new technologies, and present product roadmaps effectively.

Sample Program:

  • Identify customers for proactive sampling programs to support lifecycle management, demand shaping, and new product introductions.
  • Create in-box inserts highlighting product benefits and features

Customer Segmentation, Customer Journey's, Marketing & Content Alignment:

  • Partner with data and CRM teams to build targeted audiences and align messaging.
  • Develop customer journeys and refine Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) based on research.
  • Align marketing messages with buying center needs, supporting both digital content creation and campaign strategies.

Product Lifecyle Communication Plans:

  • Develop and execute communication strategies for product changes, end-of-life updates, and new product introductions.
  • Communicate product recommendations based on customer purchase history and new technologies.

Webinars & Educational Content:

  • Create discussion points for webinars and presentations to support marketing and production efforts.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business or Marketing.
  • 2-3 years of experience in product marketing or business development.
  • Experience with Voice of the customer (VOC) and turning insights into actionable items.
  • Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and researching new/upcoming industry trends.
  • Knowledge of competitors, competitor analysis, and differentiation strategies.
  • Technical background with understanding of IT, and A/V technology: End user computing, Edge and Data Center, A/V technology, etc.
  • Analytical skills to pull data from customer reviews, call driver reports, and competitor websites.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for details.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies or products quickly as well as ability to describe complex products/concepts with ease for the target customer base (IT Professional).
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with prioritization skills.
  • Experience in MS Office Suite.
