Reporting to the Director, Human Resources Business Partners, Retirement & Support Services, the Human Resources Business Partner - Corporate will be partnering with the Senior Leadership Team at Support Services Office to align HR initiatives with business objectives while fostering a culture of collaboration, engagement, and growth. You excel at bringing HR programs and practices to life, supporting our leaders and teams in delivering exceptional services to residents.

What you will be doing:

  • Deliver consistent, high quality HR services, ensuring alignment with organization's HR strategy
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Senior Leadership Team at Support Services Office to align HR practices with business priorities
  • Deliver HR programs and initiatives through effective change management and communication strategies to ensure adoption and impact
  • Provide guidance and coaching to leaders on complex people-related matters, including performance management, team dynamics, and organizational effectiveness
  • Address and resolve team member concerns, oversee the administration of HR programs, and support leaders in fostering positive workplace environment
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies, standards, and processes, ensuring alignment with the organization's purpose, vision, and values
  • Partner with business leaders to implement strategies that enhance team member engagement, retention, and overall workplace culture
  • Collaborate with leaders to communicate and operationalize HR policies and procedures, ensuring they meet business needs and legislative standards

Who you are:

  • You hold a university degree,
  • CHRL designation is required
  • You bring 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • You have a proven ability to build and sustain strong relationships and have a track record of partnering with and influencing senior leaders, providing guidance on critical HR issues, to drive business performance
  • You have a working knowledge of labor and Canadian employment law, current HR trends and the ability to use such knowledge proactively in consulting with clients
  • Your project management skills are exceptional and you thrive in multi-tasking environments
