Reporting to Sienna's Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), the Senior Director, Talent Acquisition will lead and elevate the recruitment function across Long-Term Care, Retirement Living, and the Support Services Office (SSO), driving a consistent, high-quality approach to hiring that reflects Sienna's purpose and values.

The successful candidate will be a strategic and hands-on leader who builds high-performing teams, strengthens talent pipelines, and ensures exceptional experience for both candidates and hiring leaders. With a focus on delivering timely, quality hires across all roles—from frontline to executives - the Senior Director, Talent Acquisition will play a critical role in supporting resident care, team member engagement, and business growth across the organization.

What you will Do:

  • Lead the talent acquisition strategy and execution for frontline, management, and corporate hiring across the organization
  • Leverage strategic sourcing channels and optimize budget allocation to strengthen talent pipelines and deliver efficient, high impact hiring results
  • Personally manage full-cycle recruitment for senior leadership and executive roles, ensuring alignment with organizational culture and business needs
  • Own and continuously improve recruitment processes to enhance candidate experience, reduce time-to-fill, and increase quality of hire
  • Build a best-in-class experience for all stakeholders throughout the hiring journey
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to align hiring plans with operational priorities and workforce needs
  • Develop and maintain scorecards, dashboards, and reporting to track key TA metrics (e.g., time to fill, quality of hire, source of hire)
  • Lead the strategy and execution for international recruitment initiatives, including compliance and integration
  • Provide strong leadership and coaching to Talent Acquisition Managers and team members, supporting their development and fostering a high-performance culture

Who you are:

  • A seasoned talent acquisition leader with 10+ years of experience across frontline, management, and executive recruitment
  • Strategic and hands-on, with the ability to balance long-term planning and day-to-day execution in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to design and execute scalable, data-driven strategies that improve quality of hire and accelerate time to fill
  • A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills, able to influence, present, and build trust across all levels
  • A trusted advisor to hiring leaders, focused on delivering exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences
  • Data-driven, using metrics and insights to continuously improve hiring outcomes
  • Experienced in leading and developing high-performing recruitment teams
  • Professional and confident in managing executive searches with sound judgment and discretion
  • Background in healthcare, hospitality, or another people-centered, service-driven industry is an asset
