Primary Accountabilities and Duties

  • Functions and tasks will include but are not limited to:
  • Recruitment and selection
  • Candidate paperwork
  • Schedule interviews
  • Conduct background checks
  • Badge appointments and follow ups
  • Ensure full compliance with the recruitment process, policy and procedure
  • Induction and Onboarding
  • Prepare all related paperwork
  • Conduct the HR induction process with new hires
  • Analyze and process leaves and return to work
  • Investigate and answer claims or correspondence concerning unemployment
  • Investigate and answer correspondence relating to work place incident and discrimination
  • Assist with employee queries, employee recognition distribution and creation of documents
  • Assist with general administration
  • Filing
  • Data capturing
  • File retention and audits
  • Prepare letters and documents
  • Ensure the safe and secure operations, in accordance with the highest possible standards of health, safety, security and all government statutory requirements.
  • Liaise regarding worker's compensations claims and prepare demographics data
  • Gather and communicate employee data for MVA claims
  • Assist with all other duties that may be assigned
  • Functions must be executed in a professional, efficient, and friendly manner

    Candidate Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum of 1 year working in an office environment
    • Ability to read, write and speak fluent English
    • Must have strong relational and communication skills
    • Typing minimum of 45 wpm
    • Excellent organizational and administrative skills
    • Must be able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
    • Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook experience essential
    • Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents
    • Must enjoy working with a diverse group of people in a dynamic environment
