Position Summary

Magellan Aerospace, Corporate has an exciting opportunity for an HR Learning Administrator Co-op Student for the May to August 2025 Term! Our opportunity provides ambitious individuals who wants to fast-track their experience on a path that delivers hands-on skill-building and breadth of knowledge on key HR functions. Our goal is to hire excellent students, give them exposure to a wide array of HR roles while focusing on the Learning & Development specialization, and the opportunity to interact with geographically and culturally diverse cross-functional teams. You may also have some exposure to different HR roles in our team, such as HR Business Partner, Internal Communications, Total Rewards, People Analytics, Talent Management, etc

Essential Responsibilities

  • Carry out the administrative elements of various learning programs (e.g., Global Leadership Development Program) by organizing and tracking activities around invitations, registration, attendance, and feedback surveys.
  • Respond to inquiries from program participants, internal stakeholders and external vendors, escalating issues as needed.
  • Coordinate and champion the Learning Management System (LMS). Maintain training databases, processing requests to attend training and professional development programs, transitioning employee training records into SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Conduct background research and gather information to support HR projects, which may include Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, employee engagement, wellness initiatives, and employee experience.
  • Coordinate and execute special Human Resource programs and services aimed at improving employee morale (service recognition, all charities campaign, take your kids to work, etc.)
  • Prepare period end reports, providing ad hoc reports as required and maintaining KPIs for the department (including but not limited to training, performance management, recruitment, turnover, etc.)
  • Support the production of learning content through the e-learning design platform and posting and/or maintaining learning assets in our LMS.
  • Miscellaneous administrative tasks such as filing and answering employee queries, and maintaining and improving the filing of employee records.

Position Requirements

  • Completion of High School Diploma
  • Currently enrolled in relevant university/college program
  • 1-2 years of administrative experience is ideal
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Detail and results oriented
  • Self-driven and collaborative
  • Time management; ability to manage multiple priorities
