Reporting to the HR Business Partner Manager, Employee Relations, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing advice and guidance to leaders and employees on the consistent application and interpretation of legislation, HR processes and protocols, corporate policies and collective agreements as applicable. The HR Business Partner will also provide expertise to support the effective investigation and resolution of workplace disputes and will work closely with Union representatives to resolve grievances. The successful candidate will also represent the City's interests while attending mediation/arbitration.
Must have the ability to travel to various locations.
Note: Successful candidates should be prepared for rotation between departments, with appropriate notice, in order to fill vacancies, provide developmental opportunities for staff and to support the operational needs of the client departments.
Hourly Rate/Salary: $ 86,858.00 - $ 115,812.00
