We are looking for a Senior IT Change Manager to join our Digital Solutions (GD) team in Mississauga, ON

In agile teams, we develop innovative solutions for BASF and its customers, create new exciting customer experiences and business growth, and drive efficiencies in processes. Change Management & Learning for IT Projects team supports digitalization initiatives with a major change, communication and learning impact within Digitalization of Business. As a Senior IT Change Manager, you will drive transformation successfully by people engagement and enablement, ensuring that the affected workforce is ready and able to adapt to the new digital solution in an agile environment in a sustainable way. You significantly contribute to the success of digitalization initiatives by ensuring awareness, willingness, and ability of stakeholders guiding them through the IT change process and transition phase.

As a Senior IT Change Manager, you create chemistry by...

  • Managing change successfully in S4 HANA transformation or other digitalization projects with focus on people.
  • Consulting projects in all aspects of change, communication and sustainable learning (with SAP Enable Now) in an agile setting.
  • Conducting analyses in assessing IT Change impacts and learning needs, creating appropriate actions like change plans and curricula).
  • Developing and delivering change and communication materials through diverse media and channels.
  • Managing and coordinating the delivery of sustainable learning materials across all stakeholders and aligning activities with global and local teams, including management level.
  • Planning and managing tasks within budget and timelines while innovating in IT change, communication and learning approaches.
  • Playing an active role in our global IT change, communication, and learning community while liaising with third-party vendors to establish and maintain good working relationship.

If you have...

  • University degree (bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent) in economics, social sciences, humanities, computer science or psychology.
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT Change Management, Communication, and Learning within a multinational and multicultural organization.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience using Agile methodologies and managing stakeholders, including at the executive level; Structured and analytical mindset with a commitment to quality and familiarity with modern Change Management and Learning methodologies.
  • Work experience with Agile Frameworks or Design Thinking is required.
  • Highly motivated, self-organized team player with strong project management skills and a focus on people.
  • Proficient in O365 tools, with excellent English communication skills; experience with SAP S/4 projects and Agile frameworks certifications or roles is a plus.
  • Experience with an Enterprise Learning Platform (e.g. SAP Enable Now) is nice to have.
