Scope of Position Reporting to the Manager, Training, the Technical Training Instructor is responsible for the delivery of internal and external training programs. Responsibilities include: Collaborates with Management and other key stakeholders to ensure successful and timely delivery of Learning and Development training initiatives, Delivers training content and incorporates the use of best practices to support the design of training content and materials, Under Management direction, provides coaching and feedback sessions and executes performance development plans, Delivers and evaluates practical tests/skill assessments and provides detailed feedback to support recruitment and promotion selection decisions, Compiles training evaluations, tracks, and reports on training outcomes, and maintains employee training records, Partners with internal stakeholders regarding employee training needs and informs employees about training options, Identifies and recommends opportunities for enhancing department processes, procedures, and training content, Manages and maintains in-house training facilities and equipment, Facilitates learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction and on-the-job coaching, Develops training aids such as manuals and handbooks, Other tasks and projects as required. Skills and Other requirements: Strong planning and organizational skills, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Proficient with MS Office Suite, Must be able to maintain professionalism, Flexibility and willingness to learn new tasks, Ability to work shifts to accommodate production scheduling, Ability to deal with added day to day issues and concerns, Ability to accomplish duties required effectively and efficiently Experience 2-3 years' experience in employee training/talent management 2-3 years' experience within an aerospace or manufacturing environment, Exposure to quality systems and safety fundamentals, Education Completion of post-secondary education required.
