You as a Workday Testing Lead will:

  • Manage the testing team and ensure that all team members are working towards achieving the project goals
  • Track and report on testing progress and provide regular status updates to the Project Manager and Project stakeholders
  • Communicate with project stakeholders to make sure test environments and tools are prepared for testing activities
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify and mitigate project risks
  • Work with Implementation Partner on defect management, investigation, and resolution activities
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams such as Business Analysts and Project Managers to ensure that testing activities are aligned with project objectives
  • Continuously improve the testing process by identifying areas of improvement and implementing best practices
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of testing tools and techniques and apply them appropriately
  • Develop, document, and implement test plans and test reports
  • Ensure that test activities are carried out as per the project timelines and requirements
  • Assistance with test writing may be required as needed

Is this the right role for you?

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in computer science or equivalent practical experience in an ERP test lead role
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing, including at least 2 years of experience in test management
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and techniques
  • Experience in developing and implementing test strategies and test plans
  • Experience in test automation frameworks such as SMART, or other open-source or commercial tools
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality results on schedule
  • Experience in Hybrid project methodology is a plus
  • Experience implementing HRIS systems is an asset
