You as a Workday Reporting Lead will:

  • Lead in the development and enhancement of Workday reporting with a focus on developing an org-wide reporting strategy
  • Partner with the functional leads and Business Subject Matter Experts to develop and maintain operational requirements for reporting and analytics
  • Implement and automate data analysis, including developing data models, preparing reports, and data visualizations for storytelling within Workday
  • Advise and support the business community, partner by understanding and identify their needs and recommending the appropriate tools.
  • Define key indicators and prepare dashboards to identify issues and support initiatives.
  • Support user training and change management activities.
  • Work with the business to develop and maintain system documentations and design solutions to address articulated business needs
  • Lead the testing and deployment of configurations for functional areas under their responsibility and assist with other functional areas as needed
  • Serve as a primary point of contact, take charge, and collaborate with implementation partners on all deployment tasks and report back to impacted team members
  • Keep current of the Workday Architecture, across the various employee populations, providing expertise on the touchpoints among functional areas and the necessary security, business process, data quality, integration and reporting impacts resulting from configuration changes, system updates, etc.
  • Coordinate with Business SME to demo new features, built solutions, and any communication or training assets to impacted user groups
  • Post Deployment provides technical support, maintenance and system administration including troubleshooting and resolving issues, managing integrations, and providing training and support to end users

Is this the right role for you?

  • 2-3 years working directly with reporting solutions in Workday
  • Workday Certification a nice-to-have
  • University degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, data analysis, business analysis or human resources or any combination of training and experience deemed relevant for the role.
  • Minimum of 2 years in business intelligence, data analytics or HR analytics.
  • Strong experience with building reports in Workday.
  • Work experience in an HR role is an asset.
  • Strong data analysis, data verification and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of a data visualization tool.
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing and business presentations.
  • Ability to present operational problems in a precise and concise manner to an audience, and to solve them effectively.
  • Comfortable working with all levels of management and collaborate with various stakeholders and demonstrate excellent collaboration abilities.
