What you'll do

It's safe to say, there's no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role:

  • This position supports the creation of workforce planning reporting solutions that allow decision makers to efficiently review and leverage Associate data for all TJX Canada stores utilizing business intelligence and data visualization systems and practices to meet and forecast business payroll and labour needs
  • Collects and analyzes data related to the preparation and execution of the workforce planning processes to inform store payroll; this role partners with operations group and finance to help prepare the annual store payroll budget and labor-related projects
  • Assists with the preparation of the annual payroll budget as it relates to data gathering and building scenarios
  • Supports the ongoing weekly tracking of the payroll coding and communicates findings to Store Operations Finance team
  • Analyzes and recommends time intervals for specific store tasks (i.e. receiving, processing, merchandising, and markdowns) to ensure appropriate head count assigned based on store volumes

What you'll need

To begin your career with us, we require the following:

  • Post secondary degree in Business Management, Computer Science and or Accounting/Finance preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to read, write, communicate and interpret information accurately; able to develop and build relationships with internal and external partners / team members; including efficiently and effectively responding to inquires or resolving any conflicts or problems that might arise
  • Excellent analytical skills, creates understandable visual representations to communicate complex concepts and models for various target audiences, simplifying business acumen

Salary Range: $58,910 - $82,472* /year

*This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
