This pivotal role supports key programs and technologies including recognition, employee engagement, internal communication, community involvement and customer service. As part of the Human Resources department, the success candidate is a strong relationship builder who fosters a culture of loyalty, teamwork and appreciation where everyone thrives.

The job involves:

  • Help design associate engagement and communication strategies that align with the company's objectives and values.
  • Support the planning and execution of associate engagement programs and events, ensuring they align with organizational goals.
  • Provide assistance in managing the recognition program, promoting critical business behaviors.
  • Utilize various internal communication channels to effectively disseminate information.
  • Assist in executing an ongoing social media strategy using current trends and tools.
  • Support the maintenance and updates of the company intranet site.
  • Master software and systems designed to recognize, reward, measure, analyze and develop action plans that address employee and guest behaviours and feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate updates and liaise with Customer Experience survey vendors to optimize technology use.
  • Summarize and analyze research, data and best practices to foster growth.
  • Updating internal communications, dashboards and presentations to ensure all stakeholders are aware of current performance against established benchmarks and goals.
  • Work with various departments to maintain and enhance service standards.
  • Assist in establishing and documenting departmental processes.
  • Assist in communicating opportunities for associate participation in community initiatives.
  • Maintain relationships with community partners and assist in sponsorship and event decision-making.
  • Help develop associate and customer experience goals aligned with cost containment and revenue generation objectives.
  • Provide additional support to HR areas such as employee engagement, learning and development, and operations.

The ideal candidate has:

  • College Diploma or equivalent in Human Resources or Marketing Communications.
  • Knowledge of survey software, sentiment analysis and cloud based platforms is required.
  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative research; ability to facilitate group sessions.
  • Excellent organizational skills to effectively plan, organize and execute responsibilities.
  • Proven skills in building visual aids and diagrams, report writing, and data analysis
  • Excellent computer and presentation skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Canva, Adobe)
  • Superior customer service skills.
