Contract position - 18 to 20 months
Salary from $65000 - $75000 per year.

How You'll Perform the Role
The Health and Safety Coordinator is responsible for supporting day-to-day H&S reporting, safety initiatives and other safety related duties to Plant Management of ~100+ employees at the Orangeville facility.
Coordinates and maintains training and training records
Input all incident tracking for Close Calls, First Aid and Recordable injuries
Leads investigations for Close Calls, First Aid and Recordable injuries, including follow-up with all corrective actions
Regular review and maintenance of H&S Program policies and procedures
Serves as a Worker rep chair of the Safety Committee
Compiles and reports Environmental, Health and Safety data.
Ensure the completion of all Novolex EHS regulation compliance tasks and projects.
All other tasks and duties, as assigned
What We Need From You
Certificate in Health and Safety, or a combination of education and 3-5 years of work-related experience required.
Minimum of one year experience in a Manufacturing Environment
Must have reading, math, written and oral communication skills.
Fluent in English - speaking, writing
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Self-motivated, organization skills and is able to multi-task
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
