Work Description:
The Taggart Group of Companies emphasizes continuous improvement to enhance collaboration, operational excellence, and best practices. In 2024, Continuous Improvement Committees (CICs) were formed to drive strategic goals under the Continuous Improvement Executive Committee (CIEC).
The Program Manager will lead projects for the Tamarack and Tartan CIC, optimizing systems and processes for teams like Sales, Construction, and Warranty. They will oversee all project phases, communicate progress, and support the ERP transformation, aligning financial and operational needs. As a champion of innovation and change, the Program Manager will adopt new technologies, mitigate risks, and foster strong relationships to achieve organizational excellence.
Major Responsibilities:
• Key contributor of the Tamarack and Tartan Continuous Improvement Committee (Home Building and Land Development), driving recommendations and leading continuous improvement projects aimed at the optimization of our system and business processes.
• Work closely with a team of Subject Matter Experts to understand and prioritize the needs of operational teams, including but not limited to Sales, Design Center, Construction, and Warranty.
• Responsible for implementation of all project lifecycle stages including requirements gathering, planning, execution, testing, and documentation. They will be required to monitor project progress, status, and milestones, communicating regularly to key stakeholders and/or CIC Leads.
• Serve as a steward of the Tamarack and Tartan ERP transformation, developing a proactive, objective, and considered approach to mitigating risks, addressing requirement gaps, and identifying opportunities with positive ROI.
• Work closely with the Director of Finance Systems and Processes on the coordination of a project roadmap for the Tamarack and Tartan ERP transformation to ensure alignment of financial requirements in operational processes, system maintenance, and delivery of end-user support and training.
• Serve as a champion for continuous improvement, change management, new technologies, and automation across the organization.
• This role entails a commitment to building strong, trusted working relationships with stakeholders and partners both internal and external.
Statement of Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Post-secondary education in business, information technology, operations, or related field; preference will be given to candidates with PM certification or in progress.
• Minimum of 7 – 12 years’ experience working in project management, change management, systems implementation, continuous improvement, and client support.
• Experience in the home building or construction industry will be considered a strong asset.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills; proficiency in project management tools and change management practices.
• Experience working with Visio, SharePoint, Microsoft Power Platform tools, NewStar ERP, InformXL, or Intellinetics.

Physical/Sensory Effort/Work Environment
• Providing service to several people or departments, working under many simultaneous deadlines.
• Evening and weekend work might be required at times to support the opening hours of our sales sites.
• Sitting or standing for long periods of time at workstation.
• Travel may be required for the role.
• Overtime may be required.
