As an Employee Central Payroll Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the implementation and optimization of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) solutions for our clients. You will leverage your deep expertise in payroll processes and SAP ECP to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions that align with our clients' business goals. Your role will involve managing project teams, engaging with key stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of payroll solutions from blueprint to go-live.

In this role, you will actively identify and pursue innovative opportunities/approaches to create and deliver (internal and external) client value. You'll ensure that your team's work is innovative and brings value, leveraging Accenture's offerings and best practices to all engagements. You will synthesize complex information to identify trends and potential issues and quickly isolate root causes, demonstrating comfort with complexity, ambiguity, and uncertainty while adapting to changing circumstances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll implementations, from project planning and scoping to execution, testing, and go-live support.
  • Creates a logical plan, realistic estimates and reasonable schedule for project related activities
  • Consistently demonstrates sound business understanding and judgment for the company
  • Thoroughly synthesizes, distills and reconciles key findings from complex sets of information to identify trends and potential issues
  • Plan, coordinate, and lead workshops with key stakeholders to gather requirements, provide training, or discuss project scope and objectives.
  • Capture key decisions, action items, and feedback from workshops, and circulate these to stakeholders post-session.
  • Track progress on all deliverables to ensure alignment with the project timeline and escalate issues where necessary. Facilitate sign-offs for key deliverables, ensuring that stakeholders are fully informed and approvals are obtained in a timely manner.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their payroll needs, providing expert advice, and ensuring satisfaction with the delivered solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimizations within payroll operations, driving efficiency and enhancing client value.
  • Analyze client requirements and design comprehensive payroll solutions that meet their business objectives, ensuring compliance with local and international payroll regulations.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including HR, Finance, IT, and external vendors, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of payroll solutions with overall business processes.
  • Contribute to the execution of test plans to ensure the quality and accuracy of payroll solutions.
  • Support business development activities by contributing to proposals, presentations, and client meetings, leveraging your expertise to win new projects.
  • Design, manage, and execute payroll parallel tests, comparing legacy payroll results with new system outputs to identify discrepancies and ensure a smooth transition to the new system.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 implementation of years of experience in SAP HCM/SuccessFactors with a strong focus on Employee Central Payroll.
  • Proven track record in managing end-to-end payroll implementation projects.
  • Experience in managing teams and delivering projects within scope, time, and budget.
  • English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.

Technical Skills:

  • Deep expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll, including configuration, integration, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of Payroll Control
  • Strong understanding of global payroll processes, compliance requirements, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in related SAP modules (e.g., Employee Central, Time Management) is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, HR, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • SAP SuccessFactors certification in Employee Central Payroll is highly preferred.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors , which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired in selected locations.

Annual Salary Range: $89,500 to $178,400
