YOUR IMPACT:

Working under the direction of the M&A PMO, the Change Manager will collaborate with project managers, business analysts, project stakeholders and cross functional teams on the introduction of new business processes and technologies to ensure stakeholder adoption.

The Change Manager will be responsible for the development of tools, templates, and processes that are intended to help project leaders analyze the impacts of a change during the planning phase, engage stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, as well as train and transition users towards the new technologies and processes being implemented. In addition, the Change Manager will support all M&A acquisition through the day 1 and integration phases.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS:

  • Define the strategy for delivering the change.
  • Plan and manage business engagement and transition.
  • Identify, analyze, prepare risk mitigation tactics
  • Identify and manage anticipated resistance
  • Track, manage and report issues related to change
  • Consult and coach project teams
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
  • Assess the organization's readiness for project changes.
  • Assess the change impacts associated with the project.
  • Prepare cross functional, project communications
  • Plan and facilitate employee training needs.
  • Provide direct support and coaching to managers as they help their direct reports through transitions
  • Support M&A Day 1 Communications and Planning to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for acquired employees
  • Develop an M&A change management strategy for Day 1 and Integrations
  • Support M&A Integrations through change management
  • Develop and manage the Change Management Playbook and templates.
  • Develop and maintain the M&A change management playbook for Day 1 and Integrations

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Experience on implementing Change Management in organizations that doesn't have experience using Change Management
  • Previous experience working and/or running PMOs
  • Attitude towards communication
  • Knowledge of human behavior and emotional assessment
  • M&A knowledge and/or experience in managing change through acquisitions

Credentials (Recommended, Not Mandatory)

  • CPCM: Certified Problem and Change Manager
  • CMS: Change Management Specialist
  • CCMP: Certified Change Management Professional
  • ProSci Change Management Certification
