What will you do?
- Analyze & automate existing reporting tools, processes, and procedures through analytical tools (SQL/Python).
- Maintain and create databases to store & analyze different types of data.
- Design/develop accurate/relevant dashboards and reports based on investment approaches.
- Maintain details on portfolio holdings and characteristics for internal marketing, compliance, and 3rd party data vendors.
- Analyze and ensure accurate pricing, classification, and transaction of securities across multiple portfolios.
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Working towards a degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Analytically skilled, creative problem solver with experience in producing, analyzing, and manipulating large data sets. Strong attention to detail.
- A basic understanding of equity securities, rate of return calculations, and awareness of security types across asset classes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Python, SQL, and data management / storage types.
Nice to Have
- Candidacy or completion of CFA Level 1
- Experience working with Apache Spark (PySpark), Trino, Starburst, Apache Hive, Tableau
- An understanding of portfolio performance analysis.
