What You Will Do

The Business and Performance Analyst will support the Business and Performance team within LRT Operations by serving as the primary contact within the department for written communications. The incumbent will be responsible for drafting written communications, both for internal and external audiences, including commercial letters to Metrolinx. The incumbent will support the LRT Executive Steering Committee and Working Group and all stakeholders to ensure operational readiness. The incumbent will also ensure internal and external reporting follows documented processes and practices as part of the Quality Management System, and supports Quality Management System activities such as document control, change management, non-conformance resolution, root cause analysis, corrective actions, etc. In addition, the incumbent will develop policies and standard operating procedures to enable the smooth integration of the new LRT mode within the TTC, which will consist of process mapping, documenting and validating current business processes and business requirements; this will include liaising with department heads to ensure changes made to contracts are accurately reflected in standard operating procedures and plans. The Business and Performance Analyst will also be responsible for analyzing operational and commercial data for Key Performance Indicator reporting to be included in the CEO's Report, other reports to the TTC Boards and reports to external agencies, including Metrolinx, and will create report templates and work with system owners for access to data as required. What Qualifications Do You Bring?

• Completion of a University Degree in a related discipline such as Business Administration, Journalism, Communications or Engineering, or a combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent.
• Must have experience with or ability to quickly understand and interpret contractual documents (e.g. Operating & Maintenance Agreements, Project Agreements etc.).
• Demonstrated experience in documentation and process design techniques, process improvement methodologies, and project management methodologies.
• Advanced working proficiency in the use of personal computer applications, especially with MS Word, MX Excel, MS Access, MS Projects and MS Visio.
• Proven record in planning and conducting research and reviews; preparing assessment reports, business proposal reports and cost/benefit analysis of proposals; working as part of a team in the development and implementation of large and complex operational concepts.
