We are looking for a Compensation Consultant with subject matter expertise in a large and complex organization with strong interpersonal skills to join our Team!
Reporting to the Manager, Compensation, you will conduct research to support the review and development of compensation policies. You will perform salary administration functions and address compensation exceptions falling outside of policy. Provide expertise and advice with respect to organizational structure and design; review the requests for changes to organization structure and allocated headcount and complement. You will work with clients on creating and updating job descriptions and evaluating jobs as well as support assigned clients with the day-to-day compensation activities. Lead and participate is various projects related to compensation.
To this end, you will review data, including job evaluations, operating budgets, survey results and provide consultative assistance to management or other staff regarding area of study such as job design, restructuring, etc. You will review or collect data using a variety of research techniques (occupational analyses, surveys, structured interviews, focus groups, and questionnaires) regarding a topic area and analyze, providing recommendations and changes as required.
As Compensation Consultant, you will interpret and provide guidance and action regarding policy, compensation or other procedures as relevant to the role. Work with clients to assess compensation issues and needs and work collaboratively to develop a strategy to address them. You will resolve differences among two or more parties through discussions, justifications, and other guidance as required. You will be required to participate in the TTC Customer Service Ambassador Program.
