The Learning Innovation team, as part of the Lifelong Learning & Innovation team at U of T SCS, works to achieve the highest standard of excellence and quality in course design, curriculum, format, and instruction. We are responsible for leading the design, development, and renewal of leading non-credit, open enrolment courses and certificate programs as well as customized training solutions that align with industry and changes in the workplace. We strive to design, develop, deliver, and evaluate courses, certificates, and programs that are learner-centric and respond to the unique needs of busy adults seeking to achieve a wide variety of life and learning goals as part of their lifelong learning journey. Furthermore, we are committed to ensuring our over 800 instructors provide an environment where theory and practice intersect, and new skills can develop. The Learning Innovation team maximizes innovation and quality in leading the Division's digital learning initiatives and delivery of online learning support services in support of effective teaching and learning. We are at the forefront of educational technology initiatives, revolutionizing the learning experience through innovative and cutting-edge solutions.
Your opportunity:
Under the general supervision of the Director, Learning Innovation, you will advise on pedagogically and andragogically sound design, development, assessment, and evaluation of courses and programs for internal and external clients. You will be responsible for assessing client needs and facilitating iterative design conversations using your knowledge of various learning models, such as design thinking, holistic lifelong learning and pedagogy, to develop strategies to support solution design and innovation. You will actively connect with and maintain relationships with clients, subject matter experts, instructors, and staff to develop and ensure clients have access to effective and engaging learning experiences.
This role is currently eligible for a hybrid work arrangement, pursuant to University policies and guidelines, including but not limited to the University of Toronto's Alternative Work Arrangements Guideline.
