What is the opportunity?

As Manager, Talent Programs & Experience, you will play a critical role in the experience and success of RBC Technology & Operations New Grad Programs, specifically our New Grad Community and Propel. The team strives to deliver exceptional transition support from graduation to the first quarter of full-time employment within Technology & Operations at RBC. You will play a central role in expanding the programs, continuing to elevate the sense of community, belonging, and loyalty for long term retention. In addition to the Propel program, this position will also lead in executing 60+ events for the wider New Grad Community within Technology & Operations of over 300 people.

What will you do?

  • Oversee and execute day-to-day program management, prioritizing several work streams including communications, event planning/execution, and detailed tracking/documentation

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to execute and manage the recruitment process for all program participants.

  • Provide onboarding to all incoming program participants including gathering and streamlining onboarding resources and ensuring participants are integrated into the program.

  • Develop and deliver clear communications for program events, stakeholder requirements, data collection and program updates.

  • Manage and support the delivery of programming including planning professional and personal upskilling and development opportunities, sourcing of volunteers and facilitators and execution of events, all with a focus on providing an exceptional participant experience.

  • Contribute to the development of program strategy and execution plans, focusing on crafting a journey competitive in the technical talent market, and regularly provide insights to leadership to improve the offerings.

  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships by promoting the program and partnering with technical communities to ensure offerings are aligned to relevant skills.

  • Collect and analyze data from surveys to highlight key themes and insights to make data based decisions for program improvements.

Must have:

  • Driven, results-focused with meticulous organizational, planning and time management skills

  • Passion and experience in delivering exceptional experiences, especially for employees

  • Skilled at building relationships with a view to driving outcomes and business impact

  • Experience with strategic communications planning and execution

  • Strategic, out of the box, and creative thinker who is comfortable with ambiguity and working in a fast-paced environment

  • Able to quickly assess problems, prioritize key issues, using data and metrics to provide insight

  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of MS Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience coordinating mid-to large scale projects/programs involving and impacting multiple stakeholders.

  • Exceptional writing and presentation skills; including experience delivering presentations to large audiences and senior leaders.
