What is the opportunity?

As a Manager with Wealth Management Performance Management you will help the team provide insightful financial analytics and management presentations for senior Finance and Wealth Management Executives and improve financial governance. Reporting to the Director Wealth Management (WM) Finance, this position will undertake advisory & analytics, forecasting, planning and analysis for the WM business and produce reporting packages that will be distributed to Senior Management.

What will you do?

  • Support WM Finance's role in reporting and analysis of balance sheet management and NII including Liquidity Cost Allocation (LCA) reporting, RWA and capital. Closely work with WM finance advisors, Corporate Treasury, HOPM and others on FTP processes and performance measurement.
  • Participate in the FP&A process for Wealth Management globally, including periodic forecasts, weekly estimates, annual planning, and 5 year planning. Create performance reports of the Wealth Management (WM) platform, including summary forecast financials, business unit analyses, commentaries, performance metrics, and trend analyses
  • Support the WM PM team with preparing monthly and quarterly operating results packages to the WM Operating Committee and quarterly business review packages for senior management
  • Contribute to monthly close, reporting of actual results and forecasting for certain WM business units (incl. USWM Other); coordinate with finance partners to report daily estimate during the monthly/quarterly close cycle.
  • Assist with integrated drivers-based analytics efforts across the WM Platform with a focus on key performance metrics (financial and non-financial) related to the WM industry. This includes NIE, Revenue, Client Assets, Balance Sheet, Capital/RWA, Allocations
  • Drive operational efficiencies and optimize processes to enhance WM Performance Management effectiveness.
  • Own/support ad hoc projects/initiatives

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Degree in Finance/Accounting/Business or a quantitative discipline; prior work experience in wealth management or the broader financial services industry
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-motivated and independent worker with a solutions-driven mind-set
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Nice-to-have

  • Knowledge of or experience in the wealth management/asset management industry
  • Financial modelling skills
  • Experience with automating and streamlining reporting processes
  • Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools
