The Payroll SME position is a role with particular knowledge or insight in Payroll processes and procedures, which will support the business process changes from initial Global Planning with Vendor through Implementation within their area of expertise. This position is responsible for the analysis of the Payroll processes and procedures within the Employee Services & Systems area, while learning how the new processes work in the new Time and Attendance solution and provides expertise on how TTC should use the new system and acting as a project ambassador to support end user adoption.
The Payroll SME position is critical in supporting the business transformation in particular associated to changes in time processes for unionized non-operator employees within OARS and PPS systems and time processes associated with Transportation Operators, System 01 and Wheel Trans Operators. Working closely with the business users in processes and best practices development to learn how the new processes work, the Payroll SME provides help and expertise on how TTC should utilize the Time and Attendance system, ensuring processes support TTC's policies and continuously verifying if processes fit business purposes and usages, dealing with any process exceptions that may occur.
This position represents needs and interests from Business Process Owners and other impacted stakeholders to the TTC Time and Attendance initiative and works closely with the Business team, Project Team, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Super Users. Meeting regularly with the Subject Matter Experts, Business Process Owners, Time and Attendance PMO and the TTC Time and Attendance Project Manager, and is focused on the responsibilities mentioned below.
