PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The CPKC Police Service (CPKC PS) is a railway police service, which delivers Police services to the CPKC network. Duties include emergency response, special events' policing, risk reduction operations, investigation and enforcement of criminal acts & provincial statutes, crime prevention and public safety programs.
CPKC PS is actively recruiting individuals with experience in law enforcement, railway, or first responder positions including; Peace Officers, Commercial Vehicle Enforcement, Fish and Wildlife, Sheriff, Corrections, EMT, Paramedic, and Fire. Consideration will also be given to applicants with Railway experience.
Successful applicants will successfully complete recruit training which is hosted by a partner police agency and is approximately 24 weeks depending on the agency.
