As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in shaping the evolution of product lifecycle leadership and migrations, helping our customers stay connected to what matters most. Our journey toward becoming a cloud-based, digital-native services organization involves simplifying our business, modernizing legacy technologies and networks, and streamlining our product offerings. As Senior Strategy Manager - focusing on moving customers off of our legacy products and networks - you will own, evolve, lead, and execute on our customer migration strategy. You will be responsible for driving customers to connect to our networks with the latest and greatest technologies available, including TELUS PureFibre, wireless and 5G, or blended network solutions. This exciting role involves partnership across multiple business units, including TELUS Business Sales and Marketing, Regulatory, Legal, and the Business Copper Retirement team. You will own the evolution of our customer experience, bringing innovation and strategic thought to create the optimal customer journey as we migrate customers to more sustainable and reliable future-focused solutions. You will have the opportunity to design and launch several grassroots campaigns, leveraging multiple mediums including digital, email, letter, experiential marketing, as well as digital and static signage in our communities.

The role requires strong leadership skills, experience developing and presenting to senior leaders, exceptional stakeholder management, and a continuous improvement mindset. You're not afraid to dive deep into the details as required but can easily synthesize and communicate with cross functional leaders and stakeholders in support of key initiatives. You have a natural curiosity and you appreciate that failure and vulnerability are healthy ways to learn and grow.

What you'll do:


As a Senior Strategy Manager, you will be part of a high-profile portfolio and report to the Manager Product & Services

  • Strategy development and execution of strategic complex product programs to transform our businesses within our communities through a cloud-based, digital first approach while accelerating PureFibre migrations
  • Coordinate activities, priorities and timelines across a range of projects ensuring interlock across multiple teams
  • Establish an ongoing method of reporting and sharing of segment details effectively with Operational team stakeholders
  • Develop effective presentations, reporting and tracking of all Small Medium Business (SMB) activities, from working-level to senior management audiences
  • Manage multiple, complex projects independently, from inception to delivery, including cohort definition, development of KPI's, mobilization, execution, tracking, budget allocation, and closure
  • Manage stakeholder engagement and interlock, communicate updates synchronously and asynchronously and conduct retrospectives for continuous improvement
  • Contribute to the BCR team's governance and enablement objectives including engagement strategy, risk management plans, mitigation and communications strategy..
  • Provide informal guidance and mentoring to team members which may include participation in the performance review process
  • Quickly develop relationships across the organization while contributing to a fun, collaborative and trusting work environment

Qualifications

  • Ownership of end to end customer strategy and journey, working closely with the Small Medium Business (SMB) Sales Teams to drive customers off of our legacy technology and networks
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders, meet tight deadlines, and tolerate ambiguity.
  • Confidently present ideas to senior leaders at Director level and above
  • Strong problem-solving skills to clear roadblocks and resolve issues
  • Demonstrate a "can-do" attitude that fosters a positive productive working environment, especially in pressured situations
  • Experience working with sales, project teams, service delivery teams and other collaborative functional areas
  • Embrace agile thinking and ways of working to be flexible and adaptable
  • Grit, drive for success, and a commitment to delivering promised outcomes
  • You're a good human, with a sense of humor

Great to haves:

  • Telecommunications experience and exposure to a variety of sales roles would be an asset
  • Working knowledge of TELUS products, services and strategic direction
  • Bilingualism in French and English - oral and written fluency in both languages
  • Understanding of emerging technologies and industry trends
  • Background in network products, services (wireless/fixed broadband, telecom and non-telecom IT offerings and system/platforms) for context on multi-mapping of migrations or decisions for product state for the customer base
  • Bachelors' degree in Business, communications, or equivalent experience
  • Project Management Certification
