WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
You will be responsible for designing and implementing performance tests for Mobile and Web applications. You will work closely with the development team to understand the technologies and develop / implement load, stress, and endurance tests to check the performance of the systems. You will work with project teams to develop the Performance Test Plan and test artefacts involving major systems by determining the scope, schedule and sequence of test activities.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Create performance test plans for projects/ programs. Define types of performance tests like load, stress, failover and endurance tests, that needs to be conducted for a project/program
Work with business and project teams to create the workload model starting from the non-functional requirements
Create performance test scenarios and scripts based on the workload model
Execute performance tests and monitor execution
Analyze and present results of the performance tests
Responsible for following agreed upon processes for test results storage, defect tracking and defect verification and supporting project metrics tracking
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
MUST HAVE:
University degree in Computer Science / Computer Programming / Information Technology or equivalent with 8+ years of professional Quality Engineering and or development experience
Experience with analysis of non-functional requirements for performance and security for agile and non-agile projects.
Hands on expertise in a variety of performance test frameworks/tools (e.g., MicroFocus LoadRunner and Performance Center, JMeter, etc.), Load Generators and monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace)
Should be conversant with OOPs concepts and have experience with at least one OOPs language (e.g. Java, C#, etc.)
Hands on experience developing production work load models and coordinate test environments scaled to run 'close to prod' performance tests
Hands on experience with Environment mapping of performance testing environment against production
Hands on experience with Diagnostics processes and tool such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics in non-production environment to diagnose performance bottlenecks early during delivery life cycle.
Hands on experience with leveraging service virtualization for Performance Testing
Hands on experience with Mobile ready Performance testing tools and associated protocols such as 'True Client' protocols
Good understanding of source control and experience with git commands
Hands on experience to analyze complex business ecosystems to understand business logic and processes, including data attributes and data business rules
Experience working with software delivery methodologies, frameworks and best practices (Agile and Iterative Waterfall) and DevOps operations and integration of testing into the DevOps pipeline
Very good communication skills; ability to focus and prioritize and solve complex technical problems
NICE-TO-HAVE:
Experience in configuring load generators while working with Performance Center
K6,Blazemeter,Neoload tools knowledge
Cloud platform OCP4/Azure apps & service architecture understanding and testing experience
GitHub actions Knowledge
Understanding of CI/CD pipeline
Strong banking business domain knowledge
