Our Toronto branch is currently hiring a Talent Acquisition Advisor for our Security Services business line. Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, the successful candidate will provide expert guidance and support in recruitment efforts, ensuring we attract and retain the best talent. This role also includes collaboration on strategic workforce planning, candidate sourcing, and the recruitment process, helping to shape the future of GardaWorld.

Your Duties will include:

  • Must be able to manage a high-volume recruitment portfolio of professional security guards.

  • Collaborate with Account Managers and Site Supervisors to understand hiring needs.

  • Actively engage in discussions concerning open positions to gain a clear understanding of specific job requirements.

  • Approve and create job requisitions in the ATS.

  • Create and post job listings on GardaWorld's website and external job boards.

  • Source, interview, and evaluate candidates for security roles.

  • Build a diverse candidate pipeline via various channels (ATS, referrals, job boards, etc.).

  • Assess applications for qualifications, experience, and licensing.

  • Participate in hiring events such as Job fairs, Career fairs, and Trade Shows

  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, verifying candidate identification and licensing, and ensuring all necessary documents are completed and signed.

  • Ensure ISO compliance standards are maintained.

  • Collaborate with the Scheduling department to establish suitable work schedules for new hires.

  • Partner with the Uniform Department to ensure professional attire and provision of protective equipment for security personnel

You are the ideal candidate for this position because you possess:

  • Minimum 2 years of recruitment experience, ideally from a corporate environment or staffing agency with high-volume experience

  • Able to build strong relationships and have exceptional communication skills

  • Able to manage multiple priorities within a high volume with strong attention to details.

  • Profound knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methodologies.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field OR equivalent work experience.
