Hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: $31.64 to $39.55 per hour
Status: Temporary Full-Time, 12 Months
Closing Date: April 11, 2025

Position Summary

We are looking for a creative and dynamic individual to join our Talent Acquisition team as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator. In this role you will play an integral part in supporting a diverse client portfolio and providing support to the Talent Acquisition Consultants.

Duties:

  • Supports the Talent Acquisition Consultants with day to day recruitment activities such as posting job ads, pre-screening candidates, coordinating interviews with respective hiring teams and conducting reference checks.
  • Prepares and issues offer letters and other letters (promotions, transfers, status changes) as required.
  • Provides excellent customer service to all stakeholders, hiring managers and candidates.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date records on our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Communicates in an effective and timely manner.
  • Meets internal stakeholder expectations while ensuring that processes and practices adhere to employment legislation, collective agreements, and all applicable policies;
  • Participates in other committees and projects as available and assigned.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role that is focused on coordination.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior experience working in dynamic office environment.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and can handle confidential information in a professional manner.
  • Ability to show initiative and deliver results.
  • Innovate and assist with developing new processes while maintaining flexibility in an evolving environment.
  • Savvy computer skills and experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
