Tasks
Collect, process, and validate the essential data for payroll production, within the prescribed deadlines, for a workforce of 300 to 500 employees under various collective agreements.
Manage data related to the payment of social benefits.
Act as a resource person for payroll and social benefits inquiries and resolve related issues.
Perform the monthly tasks required: CCQ, AMMQ, FTQ, government deductions, collective insurance, company fleet, training, etc.
Apply the rules of collective agreements (overtime, premiums, various expenses).
Manage employee files related to hiring, employment termination, and end of employment.
Prepare and produce T4s and Relevé 1 forms.
Ensure the updating and follow-up of employee files.
Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements
DEP, DEC, or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, administration, or a related field.
5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role.
At least 3 years of experience in a unionized company, ideally with several collective agreements.
Knowledge of CCQ payroll (mandatory).
Knowledge of Canadian payroll laws and standards, including tax principles and year-end processes.
Proficiency in written and spoken French.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook primarily).
Knowledge of MAESTRO and SAP systems (an asset).
Experience in the construction industry (an asset).
SCP (Payroll Compliance Specialist) accreditation and membership with ACP (an asset).
